Bourg Supermarket in its current location originated in 1971 as Dupre’s Big Star owned by the late Norris Dupre and Reggie Dupre, Sr. In 1986, Reggie Dupre, Jr. and Alcee Dupre purchased the store and renamed it the Bourg Supermarket. The Bourg Supermarket has proudly served this area for approximately 30 years. Customer Service, family atmosphere and quality products are the basis for their continued success.
